McDonalds being very unprofessional. Should I call it quits?

I haven't even started yet. When she called to hire me, she was very excited because she said I had a VERY good reference. And I have open availability. After the orientation, I was hired at JCPenney. I work there 2-3 days a week 10pm-4am. This McDonalds isn't even open past 11. When I called to ask if I was put on the schedule they said,"Well since you work at JCP now, we can't for this week." Ummm what? I told them my JCP schedule. They can't make a single day to train me in? Since then (2 weeks) they keep telling me to call back, they will call me back...back and forth. Do they just not want me to work for them anymore? If so, they should stop wasting my time so I can ask JCP if I could work some open store hours. Should I call McDons and say,"No what, no thanks." Or just...wait? Advice? Thanks!
