Computer cant load windows properly?

Hi guys my pc when it wants to boot it keeps on restarting it beeps up the screen comes on saying if u want to log on normally , safe mode , last known good , ect then when u select something tried all for example safe mode then it restarts again i did putt in a windows cd trying to reboot from the cd and it did to reinstall windows it loads eveything that comes on and when i want to reinstall windows it says cant detect hard drive do u guys think my hard drive is damaged? plz any help wud be apreciated
