Could the prayers of a discerner of spirits lift the curse on the Chicago Cubs?

Some Christian`s are blessed with the Fruits of the Spirit. One of them is discernment of spirits. Could their prayers save the Cubs from going bankrupt and being sold? I`m a Born Again Christian who has seen the positive effect in situations were discerners of spirits have prayed. Should the Cubs owners solicit the prayers of such a person? Serious answers please, this is not a joke matter. I advice those who have different views to restrain themselves and fall into the unforgivable sin of wounding the Holy Ghost. Also do not categorize the subject of the question, because God does involve himself in all aspects of our lives.
