Credit Card fraud question?
This past Sunday I received an unauthorized charge to my prepaid Debit/Credit card company (Upside) for 317.85. I live in California and the charge was made at a Walgreen's in Brooklyn, New York. My card was never stolen but whoever it was had a counterfeit of my card. Here's where i am upset. My card company told me they cannot credit my account back with the money until the investigation is finished which could be up to 30 to 90 days!!! My account is frozen and has to stay that way until the investigation is done. How do I get them to credit my account NOW for this obvious fraud???? I am a student and they took almost everything I have! Please help! thank you!
