Do these ideas make sense?

I was thinking and i had a realization that if we can learn to be selfless that all the worlds problems would go away. I learned that through selflessness we can learn more than we could ever hope to if we live selfish lives and that selfishness only causes life to be harder that it needs to be, that if the whole world could get along and be selfless we could get so much farther in a day than we have in years, i learned that the divine ultimately does not care about our worship, the divine want us to work together to rise as close to perfection as we possibly can and that the way to salvation is through selfless acts not senseless worship, this is what all the religions try to teach in there own ways. the Holy Bible trys to scare people into acting this way, the same goes for the Qur'an and the Torah. Buddha teaches this too, as does the Hindus. This is our goal and purpose. This is why we are here to rise above ourselves and to live in peace and selflessness, to become one and to go as far as we can bring ourselves to. this is what bring the love of the divine. not worship but selflessness, truth not lies. It matters not what u believe about god. whether u belive that god is in heaven, whether he has a son, whether he incarnates on earth, whether he is male, femle, neither, or both, whether u believe he is perfect or not, whether he is human or higher,whether u belive he is in our lives or simply set the universe in motion, no matter u beliefs about the divine selflessness makes sense, it is what we were created for.. selflessness is the way to the divine how ever u belive the divine manifest its self.
