I have 2 jl audio 12 subwoofers installed in my 1999 grand prix gt?

ok my mom had gave me her sound that she had in her 1996 ford explorer the sound was loud in the explorer but not that loud in my grand prix what i have to do to make it boom i will update you with more information on what amp im using and etc....
