Im going to see a speaclist for my tmj tomorrow (im 13)?

so i been waiting for this apointment for 2 months niw and it keeps getting worse the pain in my jaw is starting to cause constant head achs and i was just wondering what they were going to do and how they will fix my jaw..... my mom said that when she called up they said i would be there for about 2 hours and they wouldnt do much but x-rays..... but i was also wondering if they will be able to do something for the pain or to fix my jaw tomorrow
