Why are Democrat voters unable to identify their elected leaders, but can name most celebrities ?

Liberals are the people who get their news from TMZ, The Daily Show, SNL and The Soup. I live in an area infested with libbies and will confirm that none of them pay attention to anything but celebrity gossip, marijuana, and fashion.
