Osmosis question.............?

If I placed a cell in a solution which was of a lower concentration than the inside of the cell, would water molecules move into the cell as there is a greater probablity that a water molecule will move into the cell than move out of the cell due to the fact that there are more more water molecules in the solution than outside the cell? Is this all there is to osmosis, or is it more complicated than this?
